River Clay Fine Arts Festival (River Clay) brings together people from across the region to celebrate the visual arts in all its forms. The juried fine arts festival includes an artist market featuring local and national artists, children’s art activities, student art exhibits and much, much more. Situated on the beautiful, park-like setting of Decatur, Alabama’s City Hall Campus, the festival offers a destination for visiting art enthusiasts and area residents to spend time sharing ideas, purchasing art and immersing themselves in the artistic experience.

Student Art Exhibit
In addition to the experienced artists, River Clay celebrates our up-and-coming student artists! Festival goers will enjoy seeing the display of artwork representing students from public and private schools across Decatur, Hartselle, and Morgan County.
Food Trucks
Food trucks will be on site offering festival patrons a chance to refuel before going back through the artist market to pick up the perfect piece of art! Beer and wine will also be available. Grab a bite and picnic in “the grove” or get a beverage and keep shopping!
River Clay Rendezvous
River Clay kicks off Friday night with River Clay Rendezvous, an arts patron preview party. It’s a festive night of food and drink, and attendees get the FIRST opportunity to browse the River Clay Artist Market… which means the first chance to purchase as well!
